1000 pieces. Clementoni’s "Museum" collection. Reproduction of an oil painting on canvas made by the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer around 1665. Lost for more than two hundred years, it was found in 1881 and bequeathed in 1903 to the Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague in the Netherlands. Nicknamed the "Mona Lisa of the North", it is considered one of the painter's masterpieces. It represents a very pretty girl of the seventeenth century with pearl earrings shown from three quarters back on a black background, looking at us with her bright eyes and luscious lips.
