This thermometer indicates boiling liquids to make the best sweet and deep fry creations. Temperature reading from 100°F to 500°F (40°C to 260°C). Temperature guide on packaging (deep fry and candy). Silicone rim for heat protection. Instructions: Attach the clip to the rim of the pot. Insert the probe approximately 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) into the liquid. Do not let the tip of the probe touch the bottom of the pot.DO NOT leave thermometer in oven.
